Empower, Elevate & Entrepreneurship is our inaugural gathering of industry professionals, entrepreneurs and future pioneers exemplifying the STEM excellence in the UK.
This full-day event features a number of sessions that will equip attendees with the tools for success; Empowering the community with the confidence and self-believe to achieve, Elevating in your area of expertise and overcoming discrimination and Entrepreneurship, using your STEM degree or technical skills to seize an opportunity to become a future founder.
This conference has been designed with your progression in mind. Our agenda focuses on a variety of skills interactively presented by our fantastic line up of highly sought after speakers. Alongside our short and engaging sessions, there will also be ample opportunities for our guests to network and interact with our panel of industry experts.
Our speakers include:
Janice Gittens FRSA. A highly motivated therapeutic coach who has a passion for developing people to reach their full potential by being authentic and developing a world view that embraces difference as an opportunity and not a threat.
Sandra Kerr OBE. Sandra is the National Campaign Director for Business in the Community’s Race Equality campaign, a business led a network of organisations from the private and public sector working and committed to race equality as part of their good business practice.
Oshone S Mshelia. An Aston University PhD student researcher exploring the experiences of Black British STEM graduates in the STEM Industry with the aim to promote more inclusive practices.
Held at Imperial College London, a world-class university with a mission to benefit society through excellence in science, engineering, medicine and business.
