Bio: Manuela is a 3rd year PhD researcher at the Centre for Environmental Policy (CEP). Before starting her research, she has gained experience working for the biomass industry in Brazil looking into business strategy and sustainability. Her research focuses on how policies and markets impact the expansion of planted forests and the role that forest biomass play in reaching the Sustainable Development Goals.

Bio: Niki is a PhD researcher at the Centre of Environmental Policy (CEP).Her research focuses on the economic potential of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in the UK energy mix. SMRs are small nuclear power plants that could enable greater penetration of RES and decarbonise the electricity system.
