Get to know more about IGHI
At the Institute of Global Health Innovation, our staff bring a mix of expertise and backgrounds including medical doctors and surgeons, entrepreneurs, economists, as well as coming from a range of industries and countries.
The diversity of our staff is reflected in the breadth of global health and healthcare projects we work on. Examples of projects we have worked on include:
- National State of Patient Safety Report 2024: Analysis of patient safety data to understand the performance in patient safety of key areas in the NHS in England
- Assessing the Barriers to Breast Screening (ABBS) study – a study to understand the challenges women face when deciding whether or not to attend breast screening appointments.
- CCopeY: Examining young people's mental health in the UK during COVID-19 – a study that aims to explore the mental health and coping strategies of young people (aged 16-24) in the UK during and after COVID-19 lockdown.
- The Climate Cares Centre led a global project, called Connecting Climate Minds, funded by the Wellcome Trust to bring together a global research community at the intersection of climate change and mental health, and to understand and act on the mental health impacts of the climate crisis.
