About this Challenge Team
Echo for Change is an initiative designed to amplify climate and environmental conversations within Imperial College London's podcast network and beyond.
Our project focuses on evaluating existing podcasts, providing tailored content recommendations, and supporting creators in integrating climate-related topics. A key outcome will be a dedicated website featuring our findings, along with a repository of climate experts—offering a valuable resource for the Imperial podcast community to connect with knowledgeable speakers on environmental issues.
To achieve this, we will conduct an audience survey to understand preferences and ensure our efforts align with the needs of Imperial students, staff, and alumni. Based on the results, we will assess the potential to engage a broader audience and explore short-form content creation.
Key milestones include podcast reviews, survey completion, content experiments, and the launch of both the expert repository and website. Our work will leverage podcast archives, collaborations with Imperial’s media teams, survey tools, and basic web and video production resources.
Echo for Change aims to inspire impactful discussions, provide essential resources for creators, and enhance awareness of climate issues—both within and beyond the Imperial community.
