Our undergraduate study programmes include a I-Explore module, which can be integrated into a student's 2nd year autumn term as a credited module. We also provide opportunities for undergraduate students to undertake an 8-to-10-week research experience placement.

Climate Change: Science and Solutions

This I-Explore module is offered to 2nd Year students in Autumn Term. The module, which is integrated into student's programmes and counts for a credit towards their degree, will teach participants how to construct arguments on the urgency, implications and impacts of climate, and to understand the nature of the climate crisis.

Research Experience Placements

The REP scheme enables undergraduate students to undertake a research project within the environmental sciences over 8-10 weeks, giving an insight into the world of research – a unique opportunity which will be of great benefit to future careers.
