The teaching and learning of languages is a key activity within the Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication (CLCC) at Imperial College London.

Languages for Undergraduates

  • Language-learning is open to Imperial undergraduates, during their degree, through the Imperial Horizons and I-Explore programmes.
  • Languages is one of the three Imperial Horizons fields of study alongside the Change Makers and Humanities & Social Sciences fields.
  • We offer ten languages at a range of proficiency levels. Our modules are in-depth: taught two hours per week for 20 weeks in the Horizons teaching slots.
