Giulio Giaconi received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees both with Honors in communications engineering from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 2011 and 2013, respectively. In 2014 he received an award by "La Sapienza" as an excellent graduate student.
He is currently a Ph.D. candidate within the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London, UK. His master thesis, titled "Towards Robust Indoor Localisation by Combination of Measurements", was carried on in Telecom Italia S.p.A. In summer 2013, while undertaking the "excellence track" during his M.Sc., he visited Imperial College and he deepened some aspects of indoor localisation via visible light communications.
His research interests include information and communication theory, signal processing and optimization techniques. You can follow his publications and citations on the Google Scholar page.
