We look for enthusiastic and self-motivated applicants with a 2:1 or 1st (or equivalent) in:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Aeronautics
  • Materials Science
  • Mathematics
  • or other relevant science/ engineering subjects

Please remember to:

  • Include 'Mechanical Engineering Research' in the programme title field on the application form
  • Be aware that many studentships (especially overseas) have application deadlines a long time ahead of your planned start date so it is advisable to commence the application process as early as possible
  • Make your application to Imperial College London as early as you can - sponsors will be more impressed if you can show you already meet our requirements
