I was attracted to this course because of my immense interest in genetics research and to gain further insights into how genomics is revolutionizing the field of modern biomedicine.

I thoroughly enjoyed the group-based assessment format employed in the taught modules of the course. This collaborative approach not only deepened my understanding of genomics but also significantly enhanced my critical thinking skills. Working alongside my peers, who were equally passionate about the subject, created a motivating environment that encouraged us to strive for excellence together.

Moreover, I greatly appreciated the immense support provided by my research supervisor and the course organizers throughout my studies. Their guidance was instrumental in helping me navigate challenges and unlock my full potential, allowing me to perform at my best.

I chose Imperial College London due to its strong academic and research profile. Imperial has made significant contributions in the field of medicine and biomedical research which I found to be very compelling. I also wanted to meet and learn from the world-class researchers who are at the top of their fields at Imperial. I believed that being part of the Imperial community would enable me to think independently, contribute my ideas, and help advance the field of genomics.

What did you most appreciate about your time at Imperial?

At Imperial, I appreciated the guidance and support not only from the lecturers and personal tutors but also from my friendly peers which brought in a very stimulating and productive environment. I also appreciate the numerous opportunities for networking and attending several seminars where I could share my scientific interests and learn from professionals from various fields.

What are you doing now?

I am about to begin my PhD in Biochemistry. The course provided me with numerous opportunities, including the chance to connect with my future PhD supervisor.
