What did you most enjoy about your course?
What I enjoyed most about my course was the sense of camaraderie among my coursemates. Beyond the valuable knowledge gained, the course structure facilitated meaningful interactions with friendly peers. Collaborating with them in class not only enhanced my learning experience but also made my master's journey more fulfilling. Additionally, I found great satisfaction in my computational project and the support provided by my project supervisor at Metzis Lab. As someone new to computational analysis, the substantial portion of the course dedicated to this project was challenging yet rewarding. The lab's continuous support and guidance were instrumental in my success, and I attribute the achievement of this award to their unwavering encouragement.
What did you most appreciate about the Faculty/College?
Throughout my time at the Faculty/College, I deeply appreciated the exposure to guest lectures and the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed researchers on my project. This experience allowed me to sense the palpable atmosphere of innovation within the College of Medicine, where every member is positioned at the forefront of scientific advancements. What I admire most is Imperial's commitment to fostering a positive environment that empowers researchers to continually push the boundaries of scientific discovery. This supportive ecosystem greatly contributed to my overall appreciation for the Faculty/College.
What are you doing now/What do you plan on doing after graduation?
Currently, I am taking a break to focus on applying for positions at multinational pharmaceutical companies in China.
How did it feel to receive the Dean's Prize?
Receiving the Dean's Prize left me feeling both honored and pleasantly surprised. Prior to being awarded this recognition, I was unaware of the existence of such a prestigious prize. Considering the exceptional backgrounds of my coursemates, the surprise was amplified. This unexpected honor serves as a significant confidence boost for me. I am grateful that there is a meaningful way to acknowledge and encourage the hard work of students within the course, fostering a sense of accomplishment and motivation.
