What do you do at Imperial?

I connect patients and the public with publicly funded health researchers so they can have a say in the research which is being done to benefit them

Who is an inspiration to you?

The patient advocates in the HIV community who initiated “Nothing about us, without us” and led the way in showing that patients are integral to ensuring research is patient centred and relevant.

How important is digital education and transformative technology for women in your field?

We are able to train many more researchers in how to involve the public in research as well as participatory research through our online courses which education benefits everyone especially the population impacted by the research.
