Welcome to the Undergraduate Primary Care Education Unit. We lead all the placements in General Practice over the 6 years of the MBBS undergraduate degree. Our placements are wide and varied and cover areas from clinical history taking and examination, thinking about what holistic care really means, to guiding our students through the maze of clinical decision-making. We currently work with over 150 GP practices who host our students.
We are a dynamic and energetic team who are truly passionate about General Practice and teaching. Inspiring students about the complexities of real-life medicine and General Practice is very rewarding. Our placements are consistently rated highly by our students.
