Course objectives

A femoral nailing simulation course using real-time high fidelity theatre with full equipment and staff. Includes a training lecture, assesment and feedback.  Plus virtual reality machine (DHS and knee arthroscopy) and exam orientated viva stations.

This is a cadaveric, hands on course with a high faculty:candidate ratio. Although primarily a practical course, lectures will be delivered to cover key topics including: harvesting techniques, tunnel positioning as well as post operative rehabilitation protocols. Attendees will be able to practice harvesting grafts, including BTB grafts, and then proceed to actually perform a ACL reconstruction.
