To inform the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) reapplication for 2022 to 2027 the Patient Experience Research Centre undertook a programme of public involvement activity from November 2020 to September 2021
The public involvement activity included online discussion sessions, online surveys and specific activities with community members. The purpose of each of the activities was to enhance our existing public involvement and to support the development of new and existing research Themes for the BRC reapplication. The insight reports for each of the public involvement activities which summarise the activities and outputs are provided below.
Online Discussions
This activity included a series of online sesssions via Zoom with members of the public with varying lived experience. Sessions were co-hosted with Theme researchers and included an introduction to the topic being discussed, anonymous polls, Q&A and smaller group discussions via 2 - 3 breakout rooms for attendees to share views on each topic.

A series of online public involvement surveys were undertaken to gain input into Theme's development and research areas from a wider and more diverse audience.
