Our aim is for our graduates to emerge with a strong scientific background, outstanding technical skills in spectroscopy and data analysis, and a big vision for solving tomorrow’s biomedical challenges.

Students selected to participate in the STRATiGRAD program come from a wide-range of science backgrounds, therefore, are provided with extensive training and support to conduct their research projects. STRATiGRAD student’s take part in a dedicated student “work” club, aimed at developing communication skills through oral presentations, journal clubs and debates, as well as learning and appreciating each other’s progress in their individual research projects.

In addition to formal research supervision by academic staff, all students are assigned a postdoctoral mentor for guidance through the practical aspects of their research work and instrument training, as well as providing day-to-day contact and support.
