Welcome to our dedicated section for accessing the recordings from our engaging lunchtime Q&A session held on November 18, 2024.  Designed to support radiographers new to research, this event addressed key questions and provided valuable insights from experienced professionals.

Our lunchtime Q&A session aimed to answer questions such as:

  •     Who should I talk to about doing research?
  •     How do I gain enough experience for a pre-doc application?
  •     What steps can I take to develop my research CV?
  •     How can I get involved in research when I don't know where to start?

To support aspiring research radiographers, senior researchers created a virtual event with busy clinicians in mind. We released the following five short (10-minute) online recordings in the run-up to the event, allowing registrants to choose the presentations relevant to their journey.

The interactive Q&A session on November 18, 2024, featured an engaging, open-ended discussion with our expert panel: Prof Helen McNair, Dr Tracy O’Regan, Dr Ruth Reeve, Prof Caroline Alexander, Matt Beasley and Meera Sharma. There were no formal presentations; instead, delegates could ask their questions on the day or submit them ahead of time, steering the discussion in any direction they chose.

This session was a valuable opportunity for the community to engage, share insights, and build confidence in developing a research career.
