Yuqi Chen

Hi, my name is Yuqi Chen and I go by Yuki. I am from China and achieved my bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry at University of Reading. My final year research project was about solid-phase photochemistry by utilizing flow chemistry platform and batch system. The reason why I chose the MRes in Moecular Engineering is that it offers a combination of transdisciplinary collaborative modules and industrial research projects, which enables me to better understand engineering and gain industrial insights. I am also fascinated about how to put theoretical knowledge into tackling pressing problems. When I finished my Master study, I would like to persue a vocation in chemical companies.

I absolutely love cooking and baking, especially Asian food and sponge cake. Out of these, I enjoy travelling the most.
