Study in Japan for 2 years from April 2013 or 18 months from October 2015. No Prior knowledge of Japanese language necessary.

Research or study may be undertaken in almost any field as long as it is relevant to a grantee’s field of expertise or previous study.

ELIGIBILITY: All applicants must have British nationality*, be under the age of 35 as of 1 April 2013, and be graduates or due to graduate by September 2013. |

BENEFITS: • university matriculation and tuition fees paid • monthly allowance of approx. \150,000 (sufficient to cover most normal expenses for a single person) • possibility of a 6-month Japanese language course • return airfare to Japan • health cover • visa allowing part-time work |
