Robotics students lead the way
Students from our department are among the winners of this year's John Lever Memorial Award, which rewards student contributions to teaching and learning in the Faculty of Engineering.
The Faculty of Engineering presents the Professor John Lever Memorial Award to recognise and reward current students, individuals or small teams, who have contributed significantly to teaching and learning achievements in the Faculty.
The award comprises a certificate and £5,000 that can be used for any nominated student-led activity. This award is an annual celebration of student involvement in teaching excellence in the Faculty.
2012 winners: Imperial College Robotics Society (The 2011 Committee)
The Imperial College Robotics Society (2011 Committee) received the John Lever Memorial award for their impact on promoting the academic discipline of robotics among all engineering departments and part of Faculty of Natural Sciences, in particular, for organising the extremely successful MegaByte series of evening lectures and for running the highly successful “Robotics 101” course.
