Paper highlighted on front cover of PCCP
Dr Marina Kuimova's paper is featured on the front cover of PCCP (Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics)
Dr Marina Kuimova's paper Mapping viscosity in cells using molecular rotors is being featured on the front cover of PCCP.
The cover was designed and produced by Dr Neveen Hosny, Research Associate in the Kuimova Group.
In her PCCP Perspective Marina Kuimova describes the use of fluorescent molecular rotors to measure and image microviscosity within individual domains of live cells. Knowing about viscosity in cells is important as diffusion plays an important role in many biological processes.
