Coinciding with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Antenna Gallery is presenting technological advancements in sport-oriented research.

This summer, the Science Museum features the scientific breakthroughs of the Hamlyn Centre Pervasive Sensing group. Coinciding with the London 2012 Olympic Games, the Antenna Gallery is presenting technological advancements in a series of events that are dedicated to sport-oriented research. These events include an exhibit at the Science Topic Zone and interactive demonstrations at the Antenna Gallery event space.

The exhibit theme is related to pervasive sensing and the ways it improves sports performance and healthcare. As such, the exhibit showcases the technological advancements empowered by the ESPRIT project and present their direct applications in real-life situations. Visitors are introduced to the ESPRIT technology and can explore its technical insights while participating in a discussion forum.

The demonstrations present pervasive sensing in action, whilst allowing the public to interact with ESPRIT technology. Set as a show-and-tell series of events, the public has the opportunity to meet and discuss with ESPRIT researchers and learn from their experience.
