Minister for Science and Universities, talking at the RAE Research Forum, says engineering is key for UK economic growth.
On Wednesday 12th September, addressing the Royal Academy of Engineering's annual Research Forum, David Willetts MP emphasised how important engineering research was to the growth of the UK economy. Willetts, Minister for Science and Universities, also spoke about the Government's commitment to strategic investements in research and innovation, including the three engineering grants totalling £14m that were announced recently, of which £5m was awarded to Chemical Engineering's Professor Omar Matar.
