Lythgoe has received a L’Oréal UNESCO For Women in Science Award

Dr Katrina Lythgoe (Public Health) has received a L’Oréal UNESCO For Women in Science Award, recognising her work in applying ecological and evolutionary theory to better predict the evolutionary dynamics of infectious disease in humans and other species, with the ultimate aim of informing public health decisions.. The results were announced on 28 June at a ceremony at the Royal Society and each of the four winners received £15,000 to fund their research careers.
