Networking and information day to provide people with disabilities and long-term health conditions an insight into Investment Banking.
GETTING INVESTMENT BANKING
An open and honest look at the prospect of a career in investment banking
23rd October, 2012
11.00am–5.00pm, Central London
Many people believe that working in investment banking isn’t for them. This is especially true for people with disabilities or long-term health conditions – visible or otherwise. The long hours and pressures we typically associate with life at a top investment bank can present a barrier.
But is this barrier real or imagined?
Ten of the world’s leading investment banks, including Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley are looking forward to meeting talented first and second year students (graduating 2014 and 2015).
The event will cover areas such as:
- An introduction to investment banking.
- How to approach the recruitment process.
- When and how to talk about your disability / health condition and the support you may require.
It will also give you an opportunity to meet with people in a similar position to you and to network with representatives and recruiters from 11 leading global investment banks.
To apply please email your CV to gettinginvestmentbanking@staffordlong.co.uk with a brief paragraph on why you would like to attend.
