Imperial is getting ready to welcome its new intake of students
Imperial is getting ready to welcome its new intake of students, with 3,000 welcome packs prepared for new starters and over 50 volunteers on stand-by to assist the arrivals as they settle in over the next week.
Welcome Week will feature departmental activities, Freshers’ Fair, sports trials, welcome talks from the President & Rector, and a plethora of social opportunities for arrivals to get to know one another, organised by Imperial College Union. The full timetable is available here for undergraduates and here for postgraduates.
For students heading to the College’s Silwood campus its student union has organised a range of activities. Read details here.
With the influx of families and luggage over the coming weekend the College has also prepared an arrival map for Freshers coming to the South Kensington Campus by car.
Share your Welcome Week experiences
The Communications team want tweets and photos to chronicle Welcome Week - from students packing up at home to moving into their new rooms and exploring the campus. People can share Tweets using the #ImpCol hashtag and upload photos to Flickr with the tag IMP150.
