Look out for the silent, quiet and group study zones at Central Library
The Central Library at South Kensington has a range of different study zones to suit you.
Each floor is designated as either group, quiet or silent study to help everyone find their own preferred work space.
- Level 1 - group study
- Levels 2 and 4 - quiet study
- Levels 4 journals and level 5 - silent study
As a general rule the higher up the building you are the quieter it should be. Please observe the displayed guidance, and encourage your friends and colleagues to follow this too. Our library attendants regularly patrol all floors and will be pleased to help maintain the study environment.
