20 swimmers before setting off

The annual Swim 2 Bestival, which has run since 2007, saw 20 intrepid swimmers, escorted by Freshwater Independent Lifeboat and members of the Island Youth Water Activity Centre (IYWAC) and the Isle of Wight Canoe Club, make their way from Hurst Castle to Colwell Bay on 6 September 2012.   Money raised by the Swim 2 Bestival goes to the Island Youth Water Activity Centre, as well as charities chosen by the individual swimmers.

SCI was fortunate to have been chosen by Rebecca Howett to benefit from her bravery!   Rebecca raised £240 in total (plus gift aid) for SCI!!  We want to thank Rebecca for her bravery and for raising enough money to help treat over 500 children for NTDs.
