Dr Ed Tate, Reader in Chemical Biology Department has been awarded the 2012 Wain Medal Lecture
Dr Ed Tate, Reader in Chemical Biology Department (Chemistry), has been awarded the 2012 Wain Medal Lecture, a prize given to an outstanding young scientist in the Biochemistry area.
The prize consists of a silver medal and £1,000. The Wain Award is provided by the Wain family in memory of the late Professor Louis Wain CBE, FRS, an outstanding scientist in the agrochemical area. Dr Tate’s Wain Medal Lecture, entitled Using chemistry to target protein modification in disease, will take place on 22 October at the University of Kent.
