VODAFONE: World of Difference competition
Opportunity to win paid placements at a Charity
Applications for the 2012 World of Difference UK programme are now open.
The World of Difference UK programme gives 500 people the chance to work for their dream charity, and get paid. Over the years we’ve helped hundreds of people donate their skills and experience to the charities of their choice.
For successful applicants the Vodafone Foundation will provide their chosen charity with £2500, with the winner receiving the balance as a salary after NI and tax have been paid. Placements can be full-time for two months or part-time for four months (minimum 15 hours a week).
This year, for the first time, university students can apply for the World of Difference programme if they can start work at their charity by 1 June 2013 and work full time – finishing at the end of July.
The competition is open to anyone who is eligible to work in the UK. The World of Difference competition is now open for on-line applications and the closing date is 13 November 2012.
