Use our new phone hoods to make mobile calls and Skype without disturbing others
Look out for the acoustic phone hoods that have appeared at the Central Library - you can use them to make mobile phone calls and Skype in private and without disturbing others.
So far, the hoods have been installed on:
- Level 1 - in the Wolfson computer suite, along the passage between training rooms 2 and 3
- Level 2 - in the toilet corridor
- Level 3 - in the toilet corridor
- Level 4 - by the lifts and around the corner near the door to the silent study and journals area
The hoods are brighly coloured and made from recycled materials, providing a pleasant environment in which to make your calls. Let us know what you think!
