Networking event for promising black students and graduates interested in work experience or grad jobs in Law, Banking, Public Sector and Technology.
ACS in the City career forum
ACS in the City Forum is a professional networking and careers project designed by the African Caribbean Company, which targets promising black university students and graduates interested in work experience or graduate jobs in Law, Banking, Public Sector and Technology.
This project is delivered in the form of an open day for each of these sectors by our partner employers. On the day, the employers do not only deliver a presentation on the career opportunities that exist within their respective organisations, they also hold interactive workshops on employability skills that also deal with job applications and interviews. Furthermore, the attendees get the chance to network with senior employees, HR personnel, and new recruits on internships or graduate programmes, in a less formal and relaxed environment. This is a key value, which our partner employers find in our project.
