A new member of DIDE, Adam Kucharski, has been awarded the Wellcome Trust Science Writing prize for an essay on the use of estimates in science.
An MRC Centre researcher has won this year’s Wellcome Trust Science Writing Prize.
Adam Kucharski, who recently joined the Centre from the University Cambridge, was awarded the prize for an article about the importance of estimates in science. His winning piece, entitled ‘In need of a number’, was published in the Observer.
