Information event for biodiversity and conservation management research program

Operation Wallacea run biodiversity and conservation management research programmes each year over the summer holidays. The projects are designed with specific wildlife conservation aims in mind, and are situated in some of the most diverse and threatened environments on the planet. These research programmes are open for students to join to gain experience of working with a range of different university academics as research assistants. There are more than 200 academics who work on the programme and we have 24 research sites spread across 11 countries.  You can come for the experience and strengthen your CV.

Expeditions run from June – August and you can come for 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks.

Operation Wallacea are coming to Imperial on Monday 19 November at 12pm. The presentation is being held in Room G16, Sir Alexander Fleming Building.       

So, if you are interested in sustainable conservation, birds, bats, large and small mammals, invertebrates, botany, herpetofauna, discovering new species, rediscovering species thought to have become extinct, learning about survey techniques and working with some of the best academics that the UK, Ireland, US and Canada have to offer, then please come along.
