Sabine Wilke was awarded the second prize in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering poster competition for her PhD research on airport surface safety in June 2013. This is the first instance of a PhD student from the Centre for Transport Studies winning an award in the departmental poster competition since its inception over 5 years ago.
