Charity and Not For Profit Forum: Thursday 22 November - 18:30 - 21:00
Are you interested in a future career in the environment or international development or in the charity / profit sector? These events are for you!
This is a ‘must’ for all students interested in finding out about careers in areas such as environmental campaigning, international development and other charities and NGOs, from a panel of speakers with experience in this sector.
After listening to the talks, there will be an opportunity for questions and then the chance to talk informally and network with the speakers afterwards. The following organisations / people will be there:
- Action for Blind People - Imperial alumnus (EEE): working in operations in the charity sector
- Cancer Research UK – Imperial alumnus (MSc Science Communication) working as Health Information and Evaluation Officer
- Charityworks – a graduate scheme to get into charity management
- Department for International Development (DFID) : ‘roles for graduates in DFID and the new graduate scheme’
- Friends of the Earth: ‘career opportunities in environmental campaigning’
- Voluntary Services Overseas: how VSO can help launch your career in the not for profit sector
