Oxford Reference is an excellent resource for checking facts at your PC or on the go
Need to check some facts quickly for an assignment or journal article you’re writing? Why waste time surfing the web and doubting whether the information you’ve found is correct when you can make use of the Library’s subcription to Oxford Reference?
This excellent resource gives you quick and easy access to a wealth of authoritative reference sources from Oxford University Press. The interface has just been upgraded to enable easier, more intuitive searching of overview pages, subject reference materials (dictionaries and encyclopedias), timelines, quotations, and English and bilingual dictionaries
Remember that as Oxford Reference is an electronic resource you can use it on the go too, just search for Oxford Reference via Library Search, and connect either through the VPN or login with your College username and password. It is compatible with IE, FireFox, Safari, Opera, and Google Chrome.
