Final quick checks of CVs and covering letters before you send them off.
If you think you CV is ready to go but want someone to have a quick look over it before you send it off, the Careers Advisory Service offers the option of having a Final 5 minute CV check. This service is carried out by a member of the Information Team and is designed to let you know whether your CV is ready to go or needs a bit more work.
You don’t need to book these sessions in advance – all you need to do is come along to the Careers Advisory Service with a printed copy of your CV or covering letter and take it down to the Information desk between 10.00 and 17.00 and whoever’s on duty will look over it for you.
These sessions are not designed for an in-depth review of your documents and we recommend that you have made use of the wide range of online and paper resources and advice and guidance offered in our 20 minute consultations and CV writing workshops before using this service.
