The Thales Challenge

Could you re-think the way one of your modules is delivered? Think about new learning methods and technology.

Event Details

This session seeks to engage Engineering, Mathematics, Computing and Business students.

Working collaboratively in your inter-disciplinary teams you will be asked to think innovatively about the way university courses are delivered in relation to new learning methods, new technologies and innovative ideas.

Haven't got a team already? Don't worry, there's an opportunity to build a team at the workshop!

The workshops will be lead by one of our professional tutors who will present the challenge with full details and ask the students to submit a Project Initiation Document. You will be taught how to create this document, with templates and handouts on offer too!

Following this, the best team from each university will be asked to develop their project with support and mentoring from a Thales employee.

The top 5 teams will be invited to Thales HQ to pitch their idea to Senior Directors, with the winning team being offered up to 5 paid 2 month internships for summer 2014, based in the Thales' Training Solutions Business.

The Prize

The winning team will be offered up to 5 paid internships. The internships will last 2 months during the summer of 2014.

During your 2 month internship, you will be based at the Thales HQ in Crawley.
