Funding available for students with a disability to undertake a business placement in China
CRCC Asia are delighted to offer a 100%* fully funded scholarship for an internship with the British Council, Shanghai specifically for a student with a disability.
The successful applicant will undertake a business placement at the British Council, Shanghai and obtain first hand experience of China’s business and cultural environments.
The successful applicant will complete the one-month professional internship during June-August 2013.
The CRCC Asia-British Council Scholarship is open to all university students with a disability. All eligible candidates from any university course are welcome to apply.
The CRCC Asia China Internship Program has been designed for both university students and graduates to combine their desire to travel and experience a new culture with the benefits of undertaking a CV enhancing internship. Participants live in high class accommodation in the heart of the city and gain transferable skills and hands-on experience in an international setting. All interns will experience a full social program with cultural outings, weekly Chinese language classes, and professional business networking events.
The successful applicant will be awarded a scholarship based on their overall application, their response to three short essay questions and an academic reference.
Scholarship applications will be accepted from 2 January through 15 February 2013 with shortlisted applicants to be scheduled for interview in early February 2013. The successful applicant will be notified during mid-end of February.
