TV TRIANGLE: Out of the Box Hackathon, 22-24 March 2013

'Rethinking TV' - Do you want to change the way we view television?
The TV Triangle is really pleased to announce the Out of the Box TV hackathon event for 22-24 March. This exciting weekend event is open to teams of up to four people, as well as individuals, including technologists, developers, designers, creatives and entrepreneurs looking to redefine how the set-top box, connected television, tablet or smartphone can create a new kind of viewing experience.We welcome teams from companies or agencies of any size, and will aim to group other individuals according to their experience.
Participants can bring along their own equipment, resources and ideas. With the help of key industry partners, we will also provide them with access to an unrivalled range of television devices and displays with which to test and demonstrate their creative thinking With the help of key industry partners such as Showcaster, informitv and Decipher, we will also provide them with access to an unrivalled range of television devices and displays with which to test and demonstrate their creative thinking. Participating groups will then put together a demonstration over the weekend to show off their skills and imagination to television industry experts.
