About the competition
The CIMA Global Business Challenge 2013 is an international business competition designed to showcase business leaders of tomorrow. It offers you a real taste of the business world and the opportunity to advance your future career. With 25 regions taking part for 2013, including Australia, Bangladesh, Mainland China, Ghana, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Middle East, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the UK, Vietnam, Zambia, and Zimbabwe the challenge is bigger and better than ever.
How it works
You are required to form a team of four and the competition works in three stages:
- Case study analysis - you will be required to demonstrate your understanding of a case study by analysing it using the given scenario and submitting a 3,000 word report
- UK final - four teams will be shortlisted to present their report to a panel of judges
- Global final - he winning UK team will represent their university and the UK at the global final

- Registration closing date: 15 March 2013
- Early bird report submission: 27 February 2013
- Report submission: 15 April 2013
- Announcement of finalists: 15 May 2013
- UK final: 14 June 2013
