Professor Roger Kneebone and his team are presenting highly realistic simulations of what happens during three different emergency scenarios – from initial emergency right through to the recovery process – at the Big Bang Fair from 14-17 March at London’s ExCel Centre.

Dr Fernando Bello and his team are demonstrating state of the art simulation technologies which visitors have an opportunity to explore and try out.

Visitors have the chance to meet and talk to practicing surgeons, cardiologists, doctors and paramedics to find out more about these life-saving careers, and how simulation can make a difference to their training.

We had the opportunity to visit Roger's simulated asthma attack scenario. Throughout the weekend visitors will have the chance to see simulated heart attacks and brain surgery in a pop up operating theatre.

More information about the event and how to attend can be found at  http://www.thebigbangfair.co.uk/viewitem.cfm?cit_id=385372
