more diversity in the corporate world is needed in order to attract young people

Encouraging diversity in the corporate world was the subject of a recent business leader's lecture at Imperial College Business School.

Marianne Fallon, Head of Corporate Affairs at KPMG, delivered her lecture ‘Will Diversity be an issue or an opportunity in 2025?’ as part of the Imperial Business Insights Series.

She spoke about the need for more diversity in the corporate world in order to attract young people.

The Series, sponsored by KPMG, who are a global network of professional firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services, provides a platform for international business leaders, academics and researchers to examine how the latest thinking in entrepreneurialism, finance, innovation, health management, sustainable energy and climate impacts on businesses.

Just before the lecture, Maxine Myers caught up with Marianne and Professor Dorothy Griffiths, Dean of the Business School, to talk about female quotas in the boardroom and how the corporate world can embrace some of the policies used by the public sector to increase opportunities for diversity.
