NEWS ASSOCIATES: Free journalism workshops!
Aspiring reporters interested in a career in newspapers, magazines, online or broadcast can enroll for a free journalism workshop.
Journalism
Staged at the newsroom of national press agency News Associates, this practical three-hour session will get you working on your own stories and there will be a chance to meet News Associates tutors, reporters and editors. Each attendee will get individual feedback and time will also be set aside for career advice.

The course, which has been praised by the Sports Journalists' Association, covers all of the basics of sports journalism - match reporting, meeting tight deadlines, knowing how different publications cover different stories and much more.
