Chair of the sub-division on Precipitation and Climate of the Hydrological Sciences Division of the EGU)
Christian will be taking over later this year as chair of the sub-division on Precipitation and Climate of the Hydrological Sciences Division of the European Geosciences Union (EGU).
His main task will be the coordination of the precipitation/climate hydrological sessions at the annual EGU meeting in Vienna, but his role will also involve representing the interests of European researchers working in these areas within the EGU.
