Find out about career opportunities for PhD students across a wide range of sectors through face-to-face contact with employers of PhD students
The Imperial Careers Advisory Service's PhD Careers Fair will be held in the Queen’s Tower Rooms on Thursday 11 May. Running from 17:00 until 19:30 and specifically aimed at Imperial PhD students, the event gives you the chance to find out about opportunities available to PhDs in order to help you make an informed decision about the path you take once you graduate.
See a list of confirmed employers for the event
There’s no need to register in advance but it is essential you bring along your Imperial Student ID card to gain access to the fair as you won’t be allowed in without it.
Before the fair, we suggest doing some research on the employers attending and sectors that interest you. This will allow you to focus on specific employers to get the information you want and make a good impression to those prospective employers you speak to. The Careers Website can help you with this, providing information and resources including destinations statistics on previous Imperial PhD students along with case studies and audio from the speakers at our PhD Forum from earlier in the year to help you generate some ideas.
The PhD Careers Fairs is part of our PhD Summer Career Focus during May, June & July 2017.
