Find out if a career in research is for you

Representatives from academia and industry talk about their careers in research

On Thursday 9 May, the Imperial Careers Advisory Service’s Developing your Research Career forum will give Imperial PhD students the chance to hear speakers from academic and industrial research environments talk about their career paths to date. The event is a great opportunity for PhD students thinking of pursuing a career in research after they finish to gain an insight from research professionals from a range of disciplines to help decide whether it’s the right path for them and, if so, whether they'd rather stay in academia or move into industry.

Places for the event are limited and are booked through the event’s page on JobsLive, which also contains information on the speakers attending.

The PhD Careers Fairs is part of our PhD Summer Career Focus during May, June & July 2013. Find out about other upcoming careers events for PhD students.
