Interested in reviewing shows at the Edinburgh Festival this year as part of UnLimited Media's ThreeWeeks team?
ThreeWeeks is the most prolific media covering the Edinburgh Festival, publishing news, features and reviews via a number of different formats throughout August.
The publication is run on a not-for-profit basis, and it's used to help train the creative writers of the future: each year, we recruit as many as 100 young people who aspire to work in journalism, media and the arts, who take part in our mediaskills education programme, getting free training and support from professional editors, and a place on our team of volunteer reviewers, who between them will cover over 1750 Edinburgh Festival events.
Everyone who is given a place on the ThreeWeeks team takes part in our acclaimed media-skills programme, helmed by professional writers and editors with combined decades of experience of writing about arts and culture. But, better than that, anyone who joins us gets on-the-ground, real time journalistic experience, complete with highs, lows, and copy-deadlines. Nothing will improve your writing like being forced to write every single day, to a deadline!
ThreeWeeks writers are usually students, recent graduates or those at the start of their arts or media careers. Our journalists are drawn from all different academic backgrounds: if you can demonstrate passion, knowledge and potential, we will try to offer you a place.
See ThreeWeeks for further details and to apply by Friday 3 May 2013.
