The Universities Business Challenge Worldwide is the world's longest established and most recognised simulation-based challenge for students.
What is the Universities Business Challenge (UBC)?
The UBC offers undergraduates within universities a unique opportunity to improve their knowledge of the business world, put theory into practice and develop their team-working, leadership and employability skills by participating in a team-based competitive challenge.
Fast-track learning experience
Research conducted shows that the UBC complements classroom learning and provides an experience which embeds taught theory. The Challenge is a true learning experience for all those who enter. It will help students to improve their understanding of how businesses work, develop their decision-making skills, their team-working abilities and increase their knowledge in key business areas such as marketing, finance, production, pricing and HR.
Cash prizes & certificates
Besides the invaluable experience and prestige of progressing through the competition, there are also cash prizes for the first three teams: 1st £1000, 2nd £500 and 3rd £250. Plus certificates of particiption and achievement as students progress through each stage of the Challenge.

This challenge isn't just for Business School students! The UBC Worldwide UK, attracted over 1,500 students in 310 teams in Round 1 from over 70 university faculties including: business and management studies, engineering, accounting and finance, law and social sciences in 2012-13.
