Youth entrepreneurship is not a fad says Imperial Business School academic
Youth entrepreneurship is a trend that cannot be ignored says the newly appointed head of one of Imperial College Business School's research groups.
In his first audio interview since being appointed as head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group at the Business School, Professor Mike Wright says the relatively cheap cost of IT infrastructure is enabling more internet savvy young people to become entrepreneurs.
Professor Wright says he wants to help promote and extend the trend of young people starting businesses by equipping them with the skills they need to create businesses that will grow in the long-term.
Maxine Myers caught up with Mike to discuss how the Business School can facilitate youth entrepreneurship and what budding entrepreneurs need to do to be successful.
